I think racing is a disease. Something is wrong with people who want to do it. It goes against every human instinct, except for competition. At times that's all that's left; it's miserable. There is nothing fun about so much of it, but it's all about that chance. That  chance to stand with your foot on the top step; on a mountain far away in a land you have never seen.  Just once... but once is never enough.
